New Construction in Juno Beach
The Town of Juno Beach maintains records of ongoing and proposed residential development projects through its official planning and zoning processes. One verified project is The Dunes at Juno Beach, a proposed clustered single-family townhome development by Pulte Home Company LLC consisting of up to 40 townhome units on approximately 4.32 acres near the southwest intersection of Donald Ross Road and U.S. Highway 1. The project, formerly known as the "Christmas Tree Lot," includes demolition of an existing vacant bank building and applications for easement abandonment, comprehensive plan amendment, zoning map amendment, development and site plan approval, and special exception; it received Town Council approval with conditions in September 2024 following Planning and Zoning Board review. Another project involves a Major Site Plan Amendment for The 700's at Ocean Drive, where the Homeowners Association requested modification of the Planned Unit Development to reduce single-family home sites from 10 to 9, specifically affecting properties at 714 and 716 Ocean Drive, with plans to demolish two existing homes and construct one new home across both parcels; this was approved by Town Council in January 2025. Additional amendments, such as those related to the Waterford campus (a senior living facility reconfiguration reducing overall units), have also been reviewed but focus on modifications to existing developments rather than entirely new residential communities.
