Juno Beach, Florida is a small coastal town in Palm Beach County, located along Florida’s Atlantic coast. Incorporated in 1953, it spans about 2.04 square miles of land, with additional water area, and had a 2020 population of roughly 3,858 residents. The town is largely residential, featuring oceanfront estates, condominiums, and local businesses. Juno Beach is well known for Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a sea turtle conservation, education, and rehabilitation facility that manages thousands of turtle nests annually.
The area has evidence of native habitation going back centuries, and Spanish explorers arrived in the 16th century. The original settlement, called Juno, served as a transportation hub in the late 1800s, especially via the Jupiter & Lake Worth “Celestial Railway.” In 1946, Bessemer Properties acquired land east of Seminole Golf Club, built Pelican Lake, and constructed the original Juno Pier in 1950. The town formally incorporated in 1953 with only around 130 year-round residents. Over the decades, housing, condos, and commercial developments have grown carefully to preserve its coastal character.
Juno Beach today blends quiet seaside living with strong environmental stewardship, making it an appealing seaside community in South Florida.
