    Northdale, Florida, is a well-planned suburban community in northwest Hillsborough County, situated approximately 15 miles north of downtown Tampa. Renowned for its lush, park-like atmosphere, top-rated schools, and abundant family-friendly amenities—including the Northdale Golf & Tennis Club and Bob Sierra YMCA—the area offers an ideal blend of outdoor recreation and urban convenience 

    Originally developed in the 1970s on former cattle ranch land, Northdale began with roughly 1,300 acres and around 2,700 single-family homes. It expanded in the late 1970s and ’80s, introducing key infrastructure and community focal points like parks, a regional library, and retail centers . North Dale Mabry Highway and the Veterans Expressway define its borders, providing easy access to Tampa, I‑275, and Tampa International Airport 

    Today, Northdale is home to over 23,000 residents and maintains a strong civic identity through its Northdale Civic Association. With a thriving demographic mix, excellent public schools, and abundant green space, Northdale remains one of Hillsborough County’s most desirable suburban communities
