Cabana Resort breaks ground in Bonita Springs

Bonita Springs joins Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, and unincorporated Lee County on the list of places where FEMA is rescinding a 25% flood insurance discount October 1.  

FEMA eliminated the flood insurance discount claiming there was a large amount of unpermitted work, a lack of documentation & a failure to properly monitor activity in special flood hazard areas.

US Open Pickleball Championships in Naples

The eighth annual Minto US Open Pickleball Championships return to Naples this week, boasting its largest field and biggest purse.  More than 3,000 competitors of all ages and levels are scheduled to descend on East Naples Community Park for the tournament, which is set for April 13-20.
