New Construction in West Miami
A small infill residential project has received approval in West Miami. Bluenest Homes 15 LLC is developing two single-story single-family homes on subdivided lots at 6051 SW 15th Street. The West Miami City Commission granted a waiver of plat in July 2026 to divide the 12,000-square-foot parcel into two 6,000-square-foot R-1 zoned lots, with the project complying with applicable setbacks and zoning requirements. The developer intends to construct one home on each new lot following the approval process, including recording of covenants and issuance of building permits. No larger-scale residential communities, townhouse developments, condominiums, apartments, or other multifamily projects were identified as currently active, under construction, or in advanced planning stages within the city limits.
