New Construction in Edgewater
The City of Edgewater maintains records of planned and approved residential developments, including the large-scale Deering Park North project (formerly Restoration DRI), a 5,187-acre mixed-use development that includes 6,600 housing units along with commercial and industrial space, proposed over a 20- to 30-year timeline with significant conservation land set aside. Deering Park Center, located on nearly 900 acres at the southwest corner of I-95 and SR 442, is another approved mixed-use project that envisions single- and multi-family residential components alongside other uses. A scaled-back housing project by Lennar Homes received city approval in late 2025 following a settlement agreement that incorporated enhanced flood control measures. New single-family communities such as Rivers Edge by D.R. Horton are also active in the area, offering new construction homes.
